Alpha Kappa Delta invites applications for the position of Editor or Co-editors of Sociological Inquiry.
Sociological Inquiry is the official journal of Alpha Kappa Delta and currently published by Wiley. Sociological Inquiry is committed to the exploration of the human condition in all of its social and cultural complexity. The journal publishes papers that challenge us to look anew at traditional areas or identify novel areas for us to investigate. Both theoretical and empirical work is welcome, as are the varied research methods in the study of social and cultural life.

Financial Support: AKD provides the Editor(s) with an annual stipend of $8,000 (to be split in the case of Co-editors), an operating budget, and travel support. Additionally, AKD provides funds for travel reimbursement to attend the annual AKD Council meeting held in conjunction with the American Sociological Association's conference each year. A one-time sign-on bonus of $1,500 is also being offered (to be split in the case of Co-Editors).
